Continue to partner with universities, other tribes, federal agencies, state agencies and others to enhance understanding of how forests and upland resources are projected to respond to climate change. Healthy, vibrant, and resilient forests depend not only on temperature ranges, but also on adequate and clean water supplies. Continuing to work with universities, other tribes, federal agencies, state agencies, and other partners to better understand how current and future changes in temperature and precipitation patterns could affect forest ecosystems in the region can help ensure that all the actions the community takes are designed to improve the health of the forest.
