Work across jurisdictions for larger-scale resilience planning efforts. Forests extend beyond the properties owned by the tribe and would benefit from a holistic approach to management across the region. Collaboration with state agencies, the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Forest Service, NOAA, private landowners, and others, will help ensure a consistent approach to forest conservation and management in ways that enhance the resilience of the forest and the wildlife that depend on it. The success of many tribal efforts (such as invasive species removal) will likely depend on the success of the region in dealing with these issues.
