Establish a continual review process for conservation, cultural, and climate goals for forest ecosystems. Ensure that future climate and cultural goals are considered in all of the Tribe’s management plans, including forest management or other ecosystem and species management and restoration plans. Climate change and the scientific projections of changes are constantly being improved. Plans should be updated as necessary to ensure that management objectives are supported by the best available science. Plans should also be informed and updated through conversations with other departments to ensure they consistently meet multiple objectives.
