Implement educational programs that invest in multi-generational knowledge sharing, encourage responsible use of resources, cultural practices, and protect ecosystem health. Forests support our lifeways, health, traditional practices, and economy. Engaging community members around the appropriate traditional uses of these resources can enhance the abundance of those resources or the health of the ecosystems. Educational program that enable knowledge sharing knowledge between elders and youth about these forest resources can preserve traditional knowledges, expand cultural practices, and enhance engagement with the forest.
