Integrate Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) and Western knowledges to manage for traditional resources and other values. Both Traditional Ecological Knowledge and western knowledges can be used to inform management of traditional food resources. The Tribe could support integration of multiple ways of knowing (as appropriate) to support long-term climate-smart management of these resources, the holistic ecosystems that they depend on to thrive, and the health and wellness of the community. Ultimately, the goal of sustainable management of traditional resources is to support the physical and cultural health and wellness of the Tribe.
