Protect cultural use areas and recreational sites, where possible, to ensure ability to use these locations as the climate changes. For the Tribe, “infrastructure” is more than roads and buildings, it can also be important cultural use areas and recreational areas that provide vital support to the community. Assessing these locations and taking action to help ensure that (where possible) they are protected from changing climate conditions is important to preserving critical cultural traditions. Key cultural locations and archeological sites that are not necessarily identified or shared publicly should also be considered and discussed in a manner that the Tribe is comfortable with.
