In the Spring of 2018, the Lake County Commissioners agreed to keep their development density map as an advisory document when reviewing new, proposed land subdivision. The CSKT use this map in addition to a Tribal Land Suitability map to keep development densities lower in areas far from towns to reduce the number of vehicle trips. [A future goal is to] get the density map to be regulatory some day.
