Monitor at-risk species and recovery efforts for those species that have or can be hardest hit. PED is working with university researchers and the IT and GIS Departments using partner, USFWS, and tribal funds to conduct this strategy on an ongoing basis. For example, Pala conducted a survey of southwestern willow flycatchers in 2013 and a survey of yellow-billed cuckoos in 2015.
