Build flood and water intrusion barriers to protect assets (e.g. fortify SLR floodwall, diking, aquifer recharge). Tribal Services is working with PED, the Business Office, the Housing Department, and the Pala Casino using a combination of grant and tribal funds to complete this strategy by 2022. PED was awarded FEMA funds to plan additional flood mitigation infrastructure improvements by 2021.
