Adaptation strategies are limited to actions that can be carried out by managing the existing resources wisely. For instance, individual homeowners need to adopt conservation practices. Tribal leadership should set the example through employing basic conservation practices using water saving nozzles; repairing and fixing all leaks in water delivery systems; and using water catchment systems where practical to use rainwater for plants and gardens.
