Monitoring specialist Sarah Kimball Ph.D.2 from the Center for Environmental Biology3 (CEB) provides monitoring assistance as part of the mission of CEB, which includes sharing the most recent research and strategies with land managers. Dr. Kimball offered to come out to Manzanita for any surveying days to assist. Sarah also invited the Manzanita team to join them during their oak monitoring at Irvine Ranch Conservancy during the Fall to demonstrate and discuss their monitoring techniques.
