Conduct outreach activities to increase awareness of tornado risk including: Educating citizens through Public Service Announcements; Conducting tornado drills in schools and public buildings; Distributing tornado shelter location information; Supporting severe weather awareness week; Promoting the use of NOAA weather radios; and Teaching school children about the dangers of tornadoes and how to take safety precautions.
