Incorporate more mixed aspen-conifer management by increasing regeneration emphasis on mixed conifer species within stands including white pine and white spruce. Mixed-species management is a climate change resilience strategy aimed at increasing within-stand biodiversity to reduce the effects of a changing climate on the stand as a whole.
