Implement upgrades to housing that can protect residents from climate impacts, such as electric heat pump systems for heating and cooling and upgrades to building envelopes, these can also benefit energy efficiency and reduce emissions while increasing the adaptive capacity of households to withstand other climate-related hazards such as power outages and brownouts.
