As part of Campo’s Climate Adaptation Plan, CEPA staff worked with Campo’s Housing department and the Campo Reservation Fire Protection District (CRFPD) to rehabilitate the quonset hut behind Campo’s EPA office to prepare the building for housing a native plant nursery and research center. Prior to the renovation in December, the Quonset was missing several panels and had gaps around the doors and in various spots along the foundation. In addition to new support beams and sturdy new panels to cover the building, the doors and ventilation have also been upgraded.
